Council's "Going Green" Initiative

Global climate change is an important issue, and the Securities Industry/Regulatory Council on Continuing Education recognizes that preserving resources is everyone's concern.  From a socio-economic perspective, the CE Council recognizes that the preservation of the environment is an essential part of today’s best business practices. We are proud to announce our ongoing initiative to Go Green so we can all be a part of the solution.

The CE Council is making efforts to be environmentally responsible and will continue to monitor the environmental impact of our business.  CE Council is committed to business initiatives/practices that are environmentally friendly.  The CE Council will continue to make a conscious effort to come up with solutions to reduce both waste and costs.

Firm Element Advisory

Starting in 2007, the Firm Element Advisory is only available in an electronic format. Twice a year the Securities Industry/Regulatory Council on Continuing Education (CE Council) publishes the Firm Element Advisory to identify current regulatory and sales practice issues for possible inclusion in Firm Element Training plans. The semi-annual topics are taken from a review of industry regulatory and self-regulatory organization (SRO) publications issued since the last Firm Element Advisory. The Council suggests that firms use the Firm Element Advisory as part of their Firm Element Needs Analysis to identify training topics that are relevant to the firm.
